Hamilton warns Mercedes ‘not on right path yet’

Lewis Hamilton has said Mercedes have come a 'long, long way' from their starting point this season, but there's still work to be done to get on the right path. Hamilton and Mercedes showed much-improved pace at last weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, with the seven-time World Champion having come from P19 after his first-lap collision with Kevin Magnussen, all the way through to finishing fifth. Team-mate George Russell finished on the podium behind both Red Bull drivers, in a weekend that saw the reigning Constructors' champions reel in some of their deficit to the front-runners.
