Perez ‘can be too accepting’ of Red Bull’s orders

Sergio Perez has been told he is too accepting of Red Bull team orders after he ceded the race lead to Max Verstappen in Barcelona. With his future in the sport a doubt, Perez signed with Red Bull at the end of the 2019 season but he must have known the role he was being offered. Sky Sports F1's Ted Kravtiz said in the wake of the Spanish Grand Prix that Perez is probably the “last person on God’s green earth” who doesn’t know he’s Red Bull’s number two driver and while he did say they needed to talk, the Mexican seemed accepting of his team's wishes in Spain.
