F1 standings: Verstappen overhauls Leclerc, Russell in the hunt
Article To news overview © XPB Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has overtaken Ferrari rival Charles Leclerc in the Formula 1 title race after a dramatic Spanish Grand Prix. Having been 19 points adrift of Leclerc heading into the weekend, the Dutchman's victory, and the Monegasque's retirement, means Verstappen now holds a six-point advantage. Sergio Perez holds third after completing a Red Bull 1-2, while George Russell's podium puts him fourth, just 36 points behind Verstappen despite Mercedes' early-season issues. In the Constructors' standings, Red Bull have jumped Ferrari and are now 26 points clear of their rivals, with Mercedes watching on in third, 49 points further back. Check out...
