Red Bull to shed weight in Barcelona as Ferrari bring ‘important' upgrade

Red Bull’s latest major upgrade set to be implemented in Barcelona means that Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will be running 3kg lighter. The Austrian oufit are thought to have lost 5kg as a result of the changes they made to the car ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, and the pace advantage was said to be just over two tenths of a second per lap compared to Ferrari, and the result was the Dutchman taking victory in Bologna and then again two weeks later in Miami. The RB18 is thought to be around the 806-808kg mark, and the additional loss will see them close in on the 798kg limit.
