Sergio Perez thought he was on his way to a possible podium, when technical problems with his RB18 threw a spanner in the works. This caused frustration for the Mexican, who believes that a one-two would have been possible, just like in Imola. Perez was hot on Carlos Sainz' s heels, but an engine problem - caused by a sensor failure - meant he had to go through life with less power from the eighteenth lap onwards.
