Perez gives update on talks to renew Red Bull contract

Article To news overview © Red Bull Contentpool Sergio Perez has revealed that talks have started over a possible contract renewal with Red Bull. The Mexican driver joined the team on a one-year deal in 2021, and was then handed a further 12 months for the 2022 season. However, with that agreement due to end at the close of the current campaign, both parties had previously made positive noises about wanting to continue into 2023. Perez's manager, Julian Jakobi, was seen at Red Bull over the course of the Miami Grand Prix weekend, and Perez revealed after the race that talks have started.
