Sainz agrees to Ferrari F1 contract extension

Carlos Sainz Carlos Sainz will remain with Scuderia Ferrari at least until the end of the 2024 Formula 1 season after signing a new contract with the team. The Spaniard has inked another two-year deal with Ferrari after joining the squad last year, from McLaren. He is currently third in the drivers’ championship, after ending last year fifth in the standings with four podiums along with way. Thus far, Sainz has finished second in Bahrain and third in Saudi Arabia, before a DNF in Australia “I am very happy to have renewed my contract with Scuderia Ferrari,” he said. “I have always said that there is no better Formula 1 team to race for and after over a year with them, I can confirm...
