Double F1 champion tips McLaren to score podium at 2022 Imola GP

Double Formula 1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi predicts McLaren will have the pace to compete for a podium at the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. McLaren made a torrid start to the 2022 campaign as they tried to get to grips with a temperamental car that performed well in the first pre-season test in Barcelona, but suffered a combination of brake and engine issues in Bahrain. Neither Lando Norris nor Daniel Ricciardo managed points in the season opener as the Woking side failed to reach Q3 with either car for the first time in 25 races in a run that stretched back to the Turkish Grand Prix of 2020.
