FIA president understands Hamilton's position: 'Is not ready to talk yet'
The end of the Formula One season is already three weeks away, yet the position of Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes has remained the same. Even the new FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem has not yet had contact with the seven-time world champion. Ben Sulayem has been hired as the new president to succeed Jean Todt a week after the end of the season. In that short time he has already had to look at several issues, including the question of whether Hamilton will receive a penalty for not showing up at the FIA gala.
