Continued Hamilton silence due to ‘social media break'

Lewis Hamilton's younger brother, Nicolas, has provided a brief update on the seven-time World Champion as his silence since Abu Dhabi continues. Hamilton has made two public appearances since the controversial events in the season finale which saw an eighth World Championship title slip from his grasp on the very last lap. While he has been to collect his knighthood and headed back to Mercedes' base to say his farewells to Valtteri Bottas as he prepares for his new role at Alfa Romeo, Hamilton has not taken to any of his social media accounts nor done any interviews in the wake of the events that unfolded at the Yas Marina circuit.
