Leclerc ‘closed the eyes' through Turn 22 in Q3 fast lap

Bouncing back from his Friday night crash to qualify P4 at the Jeddah circuit, Charles Leclerc 'kind of closed his eyes' as he went through Turn 22. Leclerc had a big shunt in Friday's second practice, his Ferrari suffering damage to all four corners while the driver was said to have a sore neck when he woke up on Saturday. That, though, didn't stop him from putting in a stellar performance in qualifying. The Monégasque driver was fourth quickest, half a second down on pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton while splitting the Red Bulls.
