De Vries defends his title with Mercedes: a third season in Formula E

Nyck de Vries and Stoffel Vandoorne will continue to compete for Mercedes' Formula E team in the 2021-2022 season. This was announced during the team presentation prior to the new season. Last year, De Vries managed to win the Formula E title in his second season for the Mercedes team. For a long time, there were rumours about a possible chance for the Dutchman in Formula 1 and he also did an IndyCar test, but in the new season of 2021-2022, the reigning champion will simply come to defend his title.
