Prost surprised by Ricciardo: "Thought he would do better than Norris"

Alain Prost is surprised about the time Daniel Ricciardo needed to find his feet at McLaren. The four-time world champion worked with the Australian during his time at Renault and therefore speaks from experience. Ricciardo raced for the Renault works team for two years, during which time he also worked with Formula One legend Prost. After the 2020 season, the Australian moved to McLaren, but made a difficult start there. This is in stark contrast to the performance of Lando Norris, who is having a very strong season in 2021.
