Leclerc puts focus on qualifying performance in Qatar

Charles Leclerc said that he would be focussing on improving his qualifying pace in Qatar ahead of the all-important Saturday evening session in Qatar. The Ferrari driver concentrated on long distance race pace in Friday's two practices, ending FP1 in seventh place a second off the top time, and just 13th in the evening after a late scare saw him run wide at turn 10. "I really like the track here at Loisal, it is great. It’s always interesting to mix things up and see a new venue on the calendar," said the Monegasque driver after the end of the day's track activity.
