Mexico Grand Prix – Red Bull's Max Verstappen has claimed victory at the Mexico GP and extended his advantage over championship rival Lewis Hamilton in the championship standings. Verstappen managed to jump the Mercedes at the line, capitalising on an incident with Valtteri Bottas who was spun around at the start. Hamilton was unable to get close to Verstappen up front and spent the second half of the race with home hero Sergio Perez bearing down on him.
