Historically, Max Verstappen does anything but bad at the Circuit of the Americas. He also drove a strong race in Austin in 2017. Just a few corners before the end of the race, he outsmarted Kimi Raikkonen in impressive fashion, but he couldn't enjoy it for long. Raikkonen raced into second place in the closing stages of the race, but had to give it up to Sebastian Vettel.
