Piastri expects no F1-seat for him in 2022: 'Most realistic goal at Alpine'

Oscar Piastri is currently the leader in Formula 2, the main stepping stone to Formula 1. Charles Leclerc, George Russell and Mick Schumacher, among others, have become champions in F2 and were then allowed to move on to Formula 1. Piastri is currently the leader in the championship, but the chances of him driving in F1 next year are very slim. That's how he sees it himself, because with the only seat left at Alfa Romeo, the Alpine youngster can only hope for the seat. "My chances of being in Formula 1 next year are extremely low, in fact not at all. Zhou (Alpine junior) is massively linked with the seat and then you have Giovinazzi," the Australian acknowledged on his own site....
