Gasly responds to Horner's talk of Red Bull return
Pierre Gasly says he “appreciates” the recent confirmation from Christian Horner that he remains in the picture for a Red Bull drive in 2023. Barring an unforeseen turn of events, the Frenchman will spend a third consecutive full year in 2022 with AlphaTauri, who have confirmed he and Yuki Tsunoda are retaining their places. Beyond that, the future is uncertain for Gasly. His impressive single-lap pace this season suggests he has outgrown AlphaTauri, consistently qualifying in the top six. Sergio Perez has another one-year contract with Red Bull in 2022 but the position alongside Max Verstappen is anybody’s for 2023 – including Gasly, who was dropped from that seat after a...
