New rules offer Ferrari title chance

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in Monza Charles Leclerc hopes the introduction of new regulations into Formula 1 allows Ferrari to again challenge for the world championship. Rule changes for 2022 effectively give teams a clean sheet in terms of aerodynamic design, with many having already switched focus to next year’s effort. That includes Ferrari, which is also working on an upgrade for its power unit to be introduced later this season.
