'I had real doubts at the time whether Vettel would stay in Formula 1 in 2022'

Sebastian Vettel will remain active for Aston Martin in 2022 and his fellow countryman Ralf Schumacher is very happy about that. However, the former Formula 1 driver would also have understood if Vettel had quit. In recent weeks there have been rumours about a possible departure of Vettel. Things were not going well at Aston Martin and the team would like to find a new driver.
