Aston Martin retains Vettel for 2022

Aston Martin confirms an unchanged driver line-up for 2022, as Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel are retained. The news follows weeks of speculation over the German's future with the team, and the need for the team to officially dismiss rumours that it had held talks with Fernando Alonso. 'Next season I will be embarking on my sixth year in Formula One, alongside my team-mate Sebastian,' said Lance Stroll.
