Latifi is 'excited to be continuing with Williams for another year'

Canadian driver Nicholas Latifi has officially kept his seat at Williams Racing for the 2022 season. The driver who has been in Formula One since the 2020 season had been linked with an exit from the sport, but alongside announcing Alexander Albon as George Russell's replacement for next year, Williams also revealed that Latifi will be staying with the team. Latifi achieved his first ever points finish in F1 during the Hungarian Grand Prix this year, outscoring teammate Russell until the Belgian Grand Prix.
