Hamilton explains what he meant after 'hitting the target' in poor start

Article To news overview © Mercedes Lewis Hamilton has explained what he meant by comments he made after the Sprint Qualifying race, in which he said he had 'hit the target' while accelerating off the start line. Hamilton, who had been at the front of the grid for the 17 lap race, didn't make a particularly good start and was jumped into Turn 1 by Red Bull's Max Verstappen. He was never able to regain the lead, with Verstappen taking pole position for the Sunday Grand Prix as a result.
