‘Looks like' Haas will retain same line up for 2022

Guenther Steiner says reports linking Mick Schumacher to Alfa Romeo are nothing more than F1's rumour mill 'playing up a bit'. Schumacher arrived on the Formula 1 grid this season with Haas and has pretty much spent his first nine grands prix running at the very back of the pack. That has led to speculation that he could take a step up the grid next season, joining Alfa Romeo, which like Haas is powered by Ferrari. Alfa Romeo brushed aside the rumours, Fred Vasseur stating that it is 'far too early to discuss' his 2022 line up, with Steiner coming out saying it is just speculation.
