Doubts about Norris' time penalty: 'The cars were completely side by side'

Lando Norris continued his excellent season at the Austrian Grand Prix. The McLaren driver started from second position and secured a podium finish in the race by passing Lewis Hamilton to take third place. In the opening stages of the race, Norris had Sergio Pérez right behind him, eager pass him. Whilst making a move, however, Norris forced Pérez wide and into the gravel, causing the Mexican to drop down into the midfield. The race committee gave Norris a five second penalty for this incident.
