Abu Dhabi wants to improve racing: Track lay-out to be changed this year

Many F1 fans and analysts have been complaining for a while about the fact that there is little to no action to be found at the Abu Dhabi circuit. This was especially the case last year, when little to nothing happened. The organisation is now going to change this. How? By changing the circuit. Saif Al Noaimi, the CEO of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management, reports he is among others facing Autosport. "We have looked at improving racing on the track. We have listened to our spectators, the fans, the drivers, F1 and the FIA and we have been working on making some changes, exciting changes, this year to the layout of the circuit."
