Verstappen: Never know what people find overnight

Max Verstappen was happy with 'a good day' of free practice for Sunday's 2021 French Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver ending the day fastest of all but knows it's only going to get tougher as the weekend progresses. After topping the timesheets at the end of FP2 at Paul Ricard, Verstappen said in the team report: 'Overall it’s been a good end to the day and we improved quite well. I wasn’t entirely happy in FP1 and even at the start of FP2 but on the second set of tyres this afternoon the car felt a lot better and a lot more connected.
