Verstappen: Vague Pirelli statement just raises more questions

Article To news overview © Getty Images/Red Bull Contentpool Max Verstappen has admitted he's concerned about Pirelli's statement regarding the Azerbaijan tyre failures that resulted in him, and Aston Martin's Lance Stroll, crashing out of the race. A statement from Pirelli explained the failures, but hinted that the teams had been running their tyres outside of recommended parameters. Both teams have strongly denied doing anything unusual with their tyres, with Pirelli's Mario Isola explaining to media on Thursday that no rules were broken by the teams.
