Magnussen gets his first victory with Van der Zande in IMSA

There is not only action in the IndyCar this weekend. The IMSA, with Dutchman Renger van der Zande, is also running this weekend. The Dutchman drives together with Kevin Magnussen at Chip Ganassi Racing and was allowed to start the race in Detroit from pole position. They managed to hold on to that position and so they both took their first win of this season. For Magnussen it is his first victory after leaving F1 with Haas. He was therefore extremely happy after the race. "It's a dream. I am very happy to have been able to do this. To leave this weekend behind me with such a big trophy is extremely special," Magnussen explained after the race at IMSA.com. Read more Ericsson wins...
