Norris ‘trying to help' Ricciardo get up to speed

Lando Norris insists he is ready for the moment when Daniel Ricciardo “clicks” at McLaren and is trying to help him along the way. Ricciardo, by his own admission, is struggling at McLaren to adjust to the car after joining the team from Renault for this season. As a seven-time F1 race winner, he was expected by many pundits to stamp his authority on his 10 years younger team-mate Norris. But the exact opposite has happened so far this year, with the Briton having achieved two podium finishes already to put himself third in the Drivers’ World Championship.
