'Young people don't want to watch two hours of racing on a Sunday afternoon'

Formula 1 will test a sprint race during a number of Grands Prix this season to investigate the possibilities for the future. It should contribute to making the race weekends more fun to watch. Ross Brawn expects a lot from it. The first sprint race will take place at the British Grand Prix scheduled for the weekend of July 18. Brawn believes it can make a great contribution to the current Formula One weekend. "We've been working on trying to get a sprint race format for a number of years, and it is now part of the whole weekend," he says in a live interview with The Muscle Help Foundation.
