Grosjean's Mercedes test won't be affected by French GP date switch

Article To news overview © Mercedes Romain Grosjean will still get to take part in his day of testing with Mercedes in late June, the team have confirmed. Grosjean is due to return to an F1 cockpit for the first time since his horrific Bahrain crash next month, with Mercedes offering him a day of track time in their W10. This test, on June 29, was set to take place two days after he would also carry out demo laps in front of his home crowd at the French GP. However, the French GP date has now been pushed a week forward as a result of the Turkish GP not being able to take place.
