How long can Red Bull and Mercedes go without team orders? 'Then they'll do that'

The 2021 Formula 1 season has only just begun, but so far it has been so evenly matched between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen that people are already looking ahead to later in the season. There have been no team orders as yet, but it's possible that there will be at some point. Mercedes has always said that Hamilton and Bottas will have equal chances for the 2021 title. At the time, however, it was probably not taken into account that Red Bull had made a huge leap forward, and would therefore pose a serious threat to the dominant team.
