Rotation of Grands Prix not wanted in Spain: 'We want to keep a permanent place'
Circuit president of Catalunya Ramon Tremosa says that the circuit would like to keep a fixed place on the calendar, instead of rotating with other circuits. The calendar is reaching the maximum number of possible races, so some races might be dropped. In recent years Formula 1 has announced more and more new Grands Prix. The Dutch GP returns to the calendar after 36 years, Saudi Arabia makes its first appearance this year and in 2022 F1 will visit Miami. This means that Grands Prix that have been on the calendar for some time may well disappear.
