Yuki Tsunoda made the switch from Formula 2 to the highest racing class this year. That went very quickly for the Japanese. This season he is driving in the Red Bull training team. They expect a lot from Tsunoda. According to Autosport-journalist Luke Smith it is known that Honda really wanted a Japanese driver in Formula 1. According to Smith, there are therefore two explanations as to why Tsunoda switched so quickly. He says that Honda was in such a hurry that the Alpha-Tauri driver's path was accelerated.
