Mercedes knows where it stands in Portimao after inspection of Bottas' wreckage

Valtteri Bottas collided hard with Williams driver George Russell at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix at Imola. On the DRS open straight both men went off hard. Mercedes were worried about what they could salvage from Bottas' car. Irreparable? Earlier technical director Andrew Shovlin announced that the car of the Finn was damaged beyond repair. There were also fears that the power unit might have suffered a serious blow from the crash.
