Williams F1 to attempt 100 pit stops in Portugal in honour of Captain Tom Moore

Williams F1 Team has announced it will attempt to complete 100 F1 pit stops across the Portuguese Grand Prix weekend in honour of Captain Tom Moore’s 100 challenge. In April 2020, Moore famously completed 100 laps of his garden in a bid to raise £1000 for NHS Charities Together. Moore’s efforts captured the nation’s attention and he raised £38.9 million in total. He was knighted for his efforts but sadly passed away aged 100 in February. In his honour, Williams will attempt 100 pit stops across the weekend at Portimao to mark what would have been his 101st birthday on April 30.
