This is the extra amount Formula 1 wants to see from Canada if fans aren't welcome

It is still unclear if the Canadian Grand Prix can go ahead. There are still a lot of problems to be solved but now time is running out. Sunday it was even revealed that Formula 1 asks an amount of 6 million dollars if there are no spectators. Formula One leaders would like to ask for compensation of about six million dollars if the Grand Prix cannot welcome fans. The government of Canada is the party that has to cough up this amount. This amount is asked to cover the costs of the local promoter to organize the weekend, costs that are mostly covered by the income generated by the spectators.
