Marko: 'That we benefit from regulatory change is pure speculation'

The aerodynamic and regulatory changes this year seem to have really unleashed the battle between Mercedes and Red Bull. Yet Helmut Marko, top executive at Red Bull Racing, does not want to comment in definitive terms on the advantage his team has gained over the direct competition. "That [the rule change] affects us less is a speculation and nothing can be proven", Marko explained opposite Motorsport-Total.com. The Austrian is referring to the aerodynamic changes to which Mercedes and Red Bull have responded significantly differently.
