Hulkenberg confirmed as Aston Martin's reserve driver

Article To news overview © Getty Ex-F1 driver Nico Hulkenberg has agreed to become the Aston Martin Racing team's reserve driver. Hulkenberg made his Formula 1 debut in 2010 and has 179 starts to his name. The German last raced in Formula 1 in 2019, though he was let go by the Renault factory team for 2020. "Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team is pleased to confirm that it has appointed Nico Hülkenberg as its official reserve and development driver for the 2021 season," Aston Martin said in a press statement.
