For Gasly and Albon it would have been better if Red Bull had intervened sooner'

Red Bull Racing was relatively patient with Alexander Albon, but after one and a half years they replaced him. Because of this Albon had no place with another team. Johnny Herbert thinks it would have been better if Red Bull had intervened sooner, like they did with Pierre Gasly. Indeed, Gasly has developed in one year at AlphaTauri into a driver who really takes the team by the hand and can perform under pressure. He was rewarded for this with a Grand Prix win at Monza, but not with a promotion to Red Bull Racing. That, according to Herbert, was a missed opportunity in more ways than one.
