Alonso delivers brutally honest assessment of F1 return debut

Sam Hall Friday 2 april 2021 10:07 Fernando Alonso has delivered a brutally honest assessment of his return debut in Formula 1 by insisting he has "a lot" to improve on. After two years of racing in other motorsport series, Alonso's 'second coming' with Alpine in Bahrain concluded early when he was unfortunately forced to retire after a sandwich wrapper became lodged in one of his rear brake ducts.
