Daniel Ricciardo has said that he is growing in confidence behind the wheel of the MCL35M after an impressive run in qualifying for the 2021 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix. The 31-year-old will start tomorrow's race in sixth, alongside Pierre Gasly on the third row of the grid. Ricciardo had spoken up until this point about not quite feeling comfortable in his new car, but admitted that his first qualifying run as a McLaren driver was a step in the right direction.
