Mazepin expecting ‘very big learning curve' in F1

Nikita Mazepin expects a 'very big learning curve' in his first Formula 1 season, but he is looking to get as high up the grid as possible. Mazepin has spent the last two seasons racing in Formula 2, finishing P18 and P5 respectively, and he will this season take to F1 for the first time after joining Haas in an all-new line-up. He will partner Mick Schumacher, also new to the series, so it should be an interesting contest between the two rookies as the season goes on. New drivers have had it arguably harder than ever this season, given the reduced pre-season schedule of just three days in Bahrain, but Mazepin feels ready for the opening race weekend back at the same venue at the end of...
