Alpine will unveil their first Formula 1 car, the A521, on March 2 with a virtual launch event. Having switched from Renault branding to sister brand Alpine over the off-season, the team confirmed that the A521 will be officially launched next month after releasing a testing livery in January. Esteban Ocon is joined by Fernando Alonso as a teammate for the 2021 season, with the Spaniard having recently been discharged from hospital following a cycling accident. Alonso won his two world championships with the Enstone team, 2005 and 2006, and returns to F1 after two years away.
