Russell, Latifi headline entry list for Virtual GP return

Williams Formula 1 racers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi will represent the team when the Virtual Grand Prix series returns this weekend. Formula 1 launched a virtual series last year, held in place of grands prix that were cancelled or postponed, and Russell emerged on top, taking four wins. For 2021 Formula 1 has organised a three-round series, which will take place across three successive weekends from this Sunday, with a charity prize fund of $100,000 up for grabs. A Sprint Race, which features Formula 1 Esports Pro Series drivers, will determine the starting grid for the Feature Race, in which Formula 1 drivers and celebrities will appear for a 50 per cent distance race.
