The braking point: What's next for the Red Bull driver academy?

Plenty of drivers have made their way into Formula 1 via the Red Bull driver academy with varying levels of success. For every Sebastian Vettel or Max Verstappen, there is a Jaime Alguersuari or Scott Speed and the model has not hit the jackpot for a couple of years now. In just the last two years, Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon have been promoted from the junior team up to Red Bull Racing, only to lose that seat within 18 months. In both cases it could be argued that they were promoted too quickly and given the subsequent success that Gasly has enjoyed, it looks as though their mismanagement of young talent has cost them.
