Sir Frank Williams in "a stable condition" after being admitted to hospital

Sir Frank Williams has been admitted to hospital where he is reported to be in a stable condition. The 78-year-old recently stepped down from his role as team principal following the sale of his illustrious marque to American investment company Dorilton Capital. Article continues under video In 2016, Williams contracted pneumonia following which his presence at races sharply declined, although he had relinquished much of his responsibilities to daughter Claire a few years previously after she was appointed deputy team principal.
