While the race wasn't included on the provisional calendar, there's still a chance that a Vietnam Grand Prix will take place in 2021. Vietnam was set to host its first Grand Prix on the streets of its capital Hanoi this season but it was cancelled following the coronavirus outbreak. The inaugural race was then expected to take place next season. However, it didn't feature on the provisional 23-race schedule released following the arrest Hanoi People’s Committee chairman Nguyen Duc Chung, an important figure in taking F1 to Vietnam. The sport is now expected to select a race to replace the empty slot it leaves, with Istanbul and Imola reportedly the most likely candidates....
