Pirelli’s Formula 1 chief Mario Isola has tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus. The positive test was confirmed by Formula 1, the FIA and Pirelli on Monday afternoon. Isola returned a positive result during the regular Sunday Covid-19 tests that take place at grands prix. Isola is now isolating, is asymptomatic and adhering to the local medical guidelines. All of Isola’s close contacts have been identified, retested and no further positive cases have been returned.
